After our Diligence session, most of us stayed and several more others joined us. Sean SB house is an ideal place to watch fireworks and we had a farewell party for Julie SG and me. Before dinner, there was plenty of time and I had a walk along the beach with all the kids, looking for crabs and jellyfish.
因为祥达师伯家是个观赏烟花的理想地方，一日精进后大多数人留下以及好几位慈青加入。当晚也是瑞云师姑和我的欢送会。晚膳前有点时间，我和一群小孩到海滩上散步，找到不少螃蟹和水母。

After dinner, there was some singing, guitar playing and sign language performances. The farewell was mainly to send off Julie SG. After Julie SG gave a speech about returning back to Hualian, all the SGs and SBs took their turn to share with everybody the experience they had with Julie SG. It was warm and touching.
吃过晚膳后，大家坐下来听歌、吉他演奏和手语表演。欢送会主要是为了欢送瑞云师姑：瑞云师姑与大家分享她回花莲的因缘后，师姑们和师伯们轮流分享他们与瑞云师姑的点点滴滴。场面即温馨又感动。

For my part, I too gave a short speech explaining to everybody why I chose to leave MIT and return to Hualian. Not everybody agreed but they respect my decision and wished me all the best.

In the end, the whole farewell became a photo taking sessions and needless to say, Julie SG and I took part in almost all the photos.
