Chinese School Open House 人文学校开放日

The purpose of this Open House is to let potential parents understand how out Chinese School operates and hope that they will send their children here to learn Chinese. Hence, early morning, everybody spring into action to give our very best to our potential parents and students.

人文学校开放日的目的，是让有兴趣的家长了解人文学校的运作，并希望他们日后会送子女在我们这里来学习中文。因此一大清晨，每人都动了起来，非常尽力地把人文学校最好的一面呈现给有兴趣的家长和学生。

What is special about out Chinese School? It is operated by Tzu Chi, hence Still Thoughts teachings is the core and identity of our school. Therefore, we showcased all the various topics taught during Still Thoughts teachings over the past months. In addition, our tea ceremony, food, Still Thoughts books and various Tzu Chi related activities are presented.

慈济的人文学校有什么特别？静思语教学是我们的核心教义，也是我们与众不同之处。因此，我们展示了每个月静思语教学的各各主题。此外，慈济的茶道、食品、静思语书籍和各种慈济的活动，都一一展出。

There was also a presentation for the potential parents, letting them understand the operation of the school as well as the course outline and an introduction of Tzu Chi.

再来，我们还办了场解说会，让有兴趣的家长了解学校、课程大纲，并且介绍了慈济。

The best way to convince parents is to let them see for themselves who the classes are conducted. Hence, En Yu SG led a bunch of them for a tour of the School. We went into some of the classes and observed first hand how lessons are conducted. It so happened that some classes are rehearsing for the graduation ceremony performed and all of us had a great time singing and acting with the class.

说服家长最好的方式，是让他们自己看看课是如何进行的。因此，恩玉师姑领了一群有兴趣的家长参观了学校。我们走进了一些班级，做第一手观察，了解教课的情况。刚好一些班级正在为毕业典礼上的演出排练，所以大伙一起载歌载舞，玩得不亦乐乎。

Hope that these children and parents will be part of our big Chinese School family next semester.

希望小菩萨和家长们会在下学期，成为慈济人文学校大家庭的一分子。
