Why do we go around our community introducing Tzu Chi and encouraging everybody to join us? This is because the influence of good is still not enough.
今天有个奇遇。下午补习结束时，正在安排下一次的补习日期，学生的母亲，陈太太问我是不是很忙，必须先查过记事簿还能定下日期。我回答是，因为慈济刚好有很多活动，便顺手与陈太太结缘了这一期的新加坡慈济双月刊。
I had a pleasant encounter this week. I was giving tuition that day and was fixing the date of the next session with the mother of my student, Mrs Tan. Mrs Tan asked me whether I am very busy this week because I answered her that I need to check my schedule before fixing the next session. I replied her yes, there is a lot of Tzu Chi activities coming along and gave her a copy of our latest Singapore Tzu Chi magazine.
回到家后，接到陈太太的电话。看过月刊后，陈太太想向慈济捐款。我是又惊讶又感动，不知道自己一个不经意的小举动，竟然会有那么好的结果。现在开始，我要时常警惕自己，要随时准备好介绍慈济。
When I reached home that day, I got a call from Mrs Tan. After reading our magazine, she would like to make a donation to Tzu Chi. I was very surprised and grateful for her kind gesture. Now I have to remind myself to be always ready to introduce Tzu Chi whenever the occasions arise.
